There are teams with huge budgets that want the Super League, such as away Sigortam and Çayırova. For this reason, all 3 home matches are finals. The basketball that the team has played in the recent matches under the leadership of coach Gencer gives both pleasure and hope.
Konyaspor Club needs to go into a state of total mobilization. The management does whatever is necessary to motivate the team. Apart from this, there should be organizations that will attract fans to the hall. More efforts should be made to promote the match. Athletes and coaches of youth teams in Konya should be invited to the match.
We saw and experienced two years ago that there is a huge basketball audience in Konya. After last season’s failure, interest decreased a lot. In a sense, he became angry with the team. We must work to recapture this potential.
With great efforts, Konyaspor stepped onto the court again 5 years ago. Staying in the league this year will be very, very important. We are in a transition season, maybe things will be different next season. Of course, this seems difficult with Konyaspor’s difficult financial situation, but a different plan may be possible with sponsor and municipal support.
