Italian National Archery Team Gears Up for Road to Paris 2024 Olympic Games

The Italian national archery team is preparing for the final sprint towards the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In addition to the qualifying events for the five-ring event, it will be essential to obtain important results also in the other international competitions valid for the ranking world championship, which will then be used in mid-June to assign the last Olympic slots (through the repechage of two men’s and women’s teams).

So let’s focus on the world Cupwith the first stage of the season taking place in Shanghai from 23 to 28 April. The Italian technical management has chosen to give space for the occasion to the second rows of the recurve teams, in order to preserve the “starters” for the European Olympic qualifying tournament and the European Championships in Essen (Germany) which will be staged respectively from 3 to 5 and from 6 to 12 May.

The Italian archers of the Olimpico who will face the Chinese trip are Matteo Bilisari, Matteo Borsani, Michele Frangilli, Massimiliano Mandia among men and Roberta Di Francesco, Vanessa Landi, Elisabetta Mijno, Aiko Rolando in the women’s field. Bel Paese practically complete in the compound division with Marco Bruno, Michea Godano, Jesse Sut, Marcella Tonioli, Elisa Roner and Irene Franchini.
