Inter Milan’s failure to qualify for the quarter-finals made the coach feel disappointed. However, he still expressed his appreciation for the Nerazzurri players.

“There is disappointment for the club and the entire Inter Milan family. However, I told the players that they should be proud of the journey they have gone through,” said Simone Inzaghi as reported by Football Italia, Friday 15 March 2024.

“We are unbeaten in eight matches, so obviously we should be able to perform better in certain moments. We made a lot of mistakes and that made the difference,” he continued.
