The opening day of the World Cup in cross-country skiing in Planica was marked by several falls today, but all escaped without serious injuries. Sergej Tkachenko already had an ugly carom on the mammoth bridge in the morning test round, lost control soon after the edge, and then did not participate in the qualification. In it, there was a constant impact after the 180-meter long flight of Finn Eetu Nousiainen. Paramedics took him from the stadium on a stretcher with bloody wounds on his face.
