Giusto Spirito Rubiera wins at the Palazzetto di Gossolengo by overcoming an Everest MioVolley in three sets who still have to deal with absences and an overall form that is far from the best. The Reggio Emilia team demonstrated quality in the second line and in attack, never granting respite to MioVolley who surrendered to their fourth consecutive defeat.
Start played point for point by the two teams but it is the guests who find the first concrete advantage (8-12). Biancoblu timeout to reorganize the game but the gap remains so even in the following actions (15-20). Nedeljkovic replaces Guaschino, Negri takes the lead in the first half with Naddeo serving as the protagonist but the comeback remains only sketchy: Rubiera passes 22-25.
Everest finds itself chasing even in the second set with the Reggio Emilia team pressing (3-9) but above all allowing very little space in defence. Passerini goes to strengthen the second line of MioVolley and coach Mazzola’s team also takes the lead (16-14): the guest’s reaction, however, is vehement: not even Bianchini’s directing intervention is enough, it ends at 19-25.
The waste from the second set can also be felt in the third: MioVolley seems to start well but once the half of the set is over it is once again the Giusto Spirito girls who get going. Moretti also enters but the match is scored with Rubiera finishing 15-25.

Two points in the clash with Modena: Busa Trasporti scores 3-2
Important victory with a view to salvation for Busa Trasporti, which progresses to the fifth set on the Modena court and closes the distance from eighth place with Team 03 – seventh – to just one point, from the yellow-blues, with Team 03 – seventh – now three points away with the same matches dispute.
Coach Leggeri has to give up the direction of Bonelli and relies on Barocelli, aggregated from the Under 16 team, who makes up the diagonal with Padrini. Ferri and Galibardi are the gangs, Bertolamei and Martino in the center with Burzoni free.
Good start for MioVolley which leads the opponents in the score reaching 12-21. Modena scores an excellent break (5-0) and Busa Trasporti’s timeout seems to have no effect (19-21): a collective reaction is needed to reach 20-25.
The Modenese team restarted with a 6-1 run. Cordani enters for Ferri but the hosts manage to keep MioVolley at a distance thanks to the initial gap. Zucchi also goes onto the court: three canceled set balls do not change the fate of the set, which ended 25-20.
In the third set Modena repeats what was done in the previous set. Boiardi enters and places a three-point break which is not enough to put Busa Trasporti back on track: the yellow-blues thus overturn the set score and lead 2-1.
MioVolley is hit but is anything but sunk: this is demonstrated by the return to the field of the green and whites who open up front finding the square in reception and in the ball exchange phase. The partial is in fact never in question.
Barocelli protagonist at the start of the tiebreak with two aces: the score is 1-4. Modena reacts again and the game is played point to point with the change of the field arriving at 8-7. The final is tense: from eleven to thirteen all. At 13-14 Zucchi comes in to serve: he scores the winning and decisive ace.
