Reviving Tradition: The Mozac d’or Awards Return to Honor Volunteers in the Community

Mozac. Volunteers rewarded with the Mozac d’or. A true institution just a few years ago, the Mozac d’or had disappeared from the radar screens for more than ten years.

Reopened two years ago by the municipality, this event rewards volunteers from the Mozaic community who bring honor to their municipality.

In a copiously furnished Harlequin room, Daniel Jean, 3rd deputy mayor, became master of ceremonies to reward the winners.

For this 14th edition, the golden evening was sponsored by Raphaël Mazeyrat, former member of the Mozac BMX club and Free Style champion having participated in the Fise World, the largest European competition, the World in Germany (5th) and the Asian X- Games in Shanghai (2nd). Between laughter, anecdotes and surprises, thirteen people and a team from diverse backgrounds, volunteers and members received a cup offered by the municipality: Christian Levavasseur (Harmonie de Mozac); Camille Dumas, Rémi Agier, Sacha Barlot and Thomas Agier (Mozac BMX); Gérard Deschamps (Mozac Cyclo club); Senior A team (US Mozac); Sandrine Balacker-Casali and Aurélie Clair (Mozac Volvic Basket); Joëlle Duranthon (Les voix de l’Ambène choir of the Mozac family association); Lorrie Henault (The Little Theater That Does Good); Jessica Rouchon (Vol’choeurs); Alain Imbert (Yoga club Mozac) and Claude Robert (Judo club Mozac).
