The Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia is scheduled for a week after the start of the Formula 1 season in Bahrain. Due to Ramadan, the free practice sessions, qualifying and race are again a day earlier than usual.

Max Verstappen convincingly won the first race of the season at the Bahrain International Circuit on Saturday. The three-time world champion had a lead of no less than 22 seconds over his Red Bull Racing teammate Sergio Pérez, who finished second. Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz completed the podium.

Just like in Bahrain, the first free practice sessions in Jeddah will be completed on Thursday. The third free practice and qualifying will follow on Friday. The race will be held on Saturday.
