After a disjointed start with mistakes on both sides, the favorites from the south initially had a clearer path to the goal. National player Giulia Gwinn hit the crossbar after four minutes. But the she-wolves were also always dangerous at the beginning. Sveindis Jonsdottir narrowly missed the goal.

The Munich team came out of halftime better. After VfL lost the ball, Bayern’s Klara Bühl was quickest, drove the ball forward and passed it to former Wolfsburg player Harder, who scored unstoppable with a deflected shot. Only a short time later Bühl increased the score to 2-0. The offensive player delivered a corner kick precisely to the second post and scored directly. Schüller and Stanway ensured VfL’s clear defeat.

The two clubs have been competing for the championship for eleven years now: VfL Wolfsburg has won seven titles since 2013, and Bayern have won the championship four times.
