“Family Law” the series that shows the problems of any family – El Sol de México

One of the most successful legal dramas of recent years, “Family Law”, is now in its third season, in which the public will continue to watch how the “Svenssons”, a family of lawyers, have faced their own problems together, while solving those of their clients.

In an interview with El Sol de México, Canadian actor Victor Garber, who plays “Harry Svensson”, father of a family and head of the law firm he runs with his three children, talks about the secret that has made this series a story that connects in several countries.

“We are very excited that you love this series. This season is the continuation of this family that goes through the problems that every family has. I think that’s why it has had such a response, because everyone, anywhere in the world, has had the same dynamics at some point,” the actor mentions.

For this season, the lawyer “Abigail Bianchi”, protagonist of the series who is played by Jewel Staite, will seek to resolve what was left unfinished in the previous installment.

Thus “Bianchi”, who in past seasons has had to learn to deal with his sobriety in order to continue at work and give a new start to his life, will face more challenges that will test his will, leading viewers to be shocked by what they will see, but also to laugh at it.

Garber, who has worked on major international productions such as “Titanic” (James Cameron, 1997)—in which he played “Thomas Andrews,” the designer of the British ocean liner—highlights the way in which this series has been written, as well as the performance of his colleagues.

“I always interpret what the script gives me. Thus, everything I have done in my career has been based on what I consider authentic to me, when I read the script. I think one of the strengths of this series is that, whether it’s drama or comedy, it’s authentic. Nothing is perfect, but I really consider that this program is of a high level, so I am proud to participate in it and the people I collaborate with,” he points out.

As this is a Canadian production, which has conquered audiences in various countries, it abounds: “Each country in the world is always making different and great productions. What happens is that now we have more access to all of them, which I think is wonderful. It is something that must continue, as it is the way in which we can learn more about each other and how we can stay connected.”
