Exciting Competition at Stage 7 of Yonex Youth Badminton Circuit in Quimper

Simple Stage 7 of the Yonex youth circuit passes to Quimper, at the Halle des Sports in Penhars, this Sunday March 17. 140 young bad players from all over Finistère, who meet in the Cornouail region, i.e. +/- 250 matches during the day. Last season, this meeting did not take place, a busy schedule. This year, the Roses took control again by organizing a “promobad” at the end of January, and this March 17, stage 7 of the Yonex youth singles circuit. The competition starts at 9 a.m. and ends around 6 p.m. As for the favorites, the Quimperois are placed in junior SD 1 with Léa BEGAT, youngest SH 1 with Oscar GAIN, Lilian OLLIVIER in junior 1. In series 2 and 3 of all categories other Roses could stand out, notably on the junior side 2, or juniors 2 and 3.

UJAP Badminton fields 26 players, which is reminiscent of a few previous years when the squadron of young Quimper players left with more than 30 players on Sundays. In terms of organizing the competition, Anthony Bourbigot is in charge of creating the different tables, the schedule, as well as being the referee for the day.

A refreshment bar will be made available to athletes and spectators. The volunteers will be on deck on Sunday, making it possible to have a great sporting and festive day.
