The European Championships in Germany will be shown on four channels. Commentator Wolff Fuss will be heard in an unusual environment. This is what TV viewers can expect: an overview of all channels and personalities.

At the home European Championship (June 14th to July 14th), football can be seen on four channels. The ARD is relying on proximity to the stadium at the tournament in Germany. This time the first is foregoing a studio in Cologne, as it still had at the 2022 World Cup. The 51 European Championship games are divided as follows: ARD and ZDF each show 17 games. RTL will broadcast twelve matches. All 51 games are only shown on MagentaTV – five of them exclusively. The Germans’ appearances will be on free TV: against Scotland (June 14, ZDF, 9 p.m.), against Hungary (June 19, ARD, 6 p.m.) and against Switzerland (June 23, ARD, 9 p.m.). In the round of 16 and semi-finals, ZDF would have first access to a possible game of the Nagelsmann team, and in the quarter-finals and final, ARD would have first access.
