Erik Dukow from Potsdam competed in the U21 up to 90kg. Erik’s very good form was already evident in the preliminary round and he defeated his three opponents early. The semi-final against Armin Pacariz (NRW), the eventual German champion, was unfortunately lost and so Erik competed in the small final against Marius Kölblinger (BW) for bronze, where Erik gave his all in the Golden Score and secured the longed-for championship medal with a score .
