The Cullerdan athlete Lola Vázquez won the bronze medal in the Spanish Children’s Judo Cup that was held this weekend in Santiago de Compostela. The competitor from the Judo Club Culleredo managed to climb to the third step of the podium in the less than 63 kilos weight category and she thus repeated the result obtained last year in this same event.
Two other members of the club also competed in the regional capital. Leandro Fernández participated in the under 60 kilo tournament, while David Varela participated in the under 55 kilo tournament. Neither of them managed to match Vázquez’s results.
