With 90 volunteers mobilized, 443 registered players and 688 matches scheduled for this weekend of April 27 and 28, 2024, the 22nd edition of the national tournament of the Badminton club Kemperle (BCK) remains one of the biggest sporting events in the year in Quimperlé.
To quantity is added quality since the competition, counting as the sixth and final round of the elite circuit of the French Badminton Federation (FFBad), mobilizes a good number of the best badminton players in France. “We have a huge density of elite players this year, especially among the men with 24 players ranked N1. And with four of the eight best French women involved, it is also very strong among the women,” rejoiced the president of the BCK, Jacky Hamoniaux, who did not fail to keep an eye on the many players of the club engaged .

On Saturday, 350 matches were played in the Cordiers and Kerneuzec halls. The finals will be played this Sunday afternoon in the Salle des Cordiers which has seven playing fields. Furthermore, to feed the public and athletes, the catering is running at full speed throughout the weekend!
