Calvin Ridley agrees with the Titans for 92 million and four years

Wide receiver Calvin Ridley and the Tennessee Titans have agreed to a four-year, $92 million deal, a person with knowledge of the terms told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

The person, speaking on condition of anonymity because the deal has not yet been finalized, said Ridley will receive $50 million guaranteed.

Ridley will be another offensive weapon for the young Titans quarterback, Will Levis. He started all 17 games for the Jaguars last season, his first after missing much of the last two years with a broken foot, a collapse in his mental health and a year-long suspension for gambling, and finished with 76 receptions for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Titans also added a veteran quarterback to their roster, agreeing to terms with Mason Rudolph on a one-year contract, another person with knowledge of the decision told the AP.

Rudolph spent four seasons in Pittsburgh, going 8-4-1 in 13 starts. He took over after Kenny Pickett was injured and went 3-0 down the stretch last season to help the Steelers reach the playoffs.

Jacksonville owes Atlanta a third-round pick (No. 79 overall) to complete the trade for Ridley.

“I think next season will be better for me, for sure,” Ridley said after the final game of the season. “However, having this year under my belt was really important. I came out of this season healthy. I know I’m a good player for sure. I feel young. I can still run, I assure you.”
