Boston Celtics Dominate Detroit Pistons, Oklahoma City Thunder Regain Lead in Western Conference

Even without Jayson Tatum, Al Horford and Jrue Holiday the Boston Celtics continue to win. The Massachusetts franchise, led by Jaylen Brown’s 33 points, crushes Detroit 129-102. Eighth consecutive victory and first place in the Eastern Conference consolidated once more.

Scrolling through the NBA results of the night, the success of the Oklahoma City Thunder stands out as they took back the lead of the Western Conference from the Denver Nuggets thanks to the clear victory over the Raptors (123-103) in Toronto. Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the game’s top scorer with 23 points. He also provided eight assists and grabbed seven rebounds. In the LA Lakers’ victory against Philadelphia (101-94), point guard D’Angelo Russell became the Lakers’ best three-point scorer during the same season: with 187 shots made he surpasses Nick Van Exel, who scored 183 in the season 1994-95.
