FC Sookmyung Wins Back-to-Back Championship at 2nd Korea Women’s University Sports Exchange Exhibition

The ‘2nd Korea Women’s University Sports Exchange Exhibition’, hosted by the Korea Women’s University Presidents Association (Chairman Seung Hyun-woo, President of Seoul Women’s University), was held at the Seoul National University of Science and Technology Sports Complex (located in Gongneung-ro, Nowon-gu, Seoul) on the 22nd.

In the Korea Women’s University Sports Exchange Exhibition, which marks its second year this year, five of the four-year women’s universities in Seoul, including Duksung Women’s University, Dongduk Women’s University, Seoul Women’s University, Sungshin Women’s University, and Sookmyung Women’s University, participated.

The championship was won by the FC Sookmyung team of Sookmyung Women’s University (President Jang Yun-geum).

The game was played in a league format, with student soccer teams from each of the five women’s universities participating as players.

The Sookmyung Women’s University FC Sookmyung team, ranked 1st and 2nd based on points, and the Duksung Women’s University Duksung FC Flora team competed in the final game and ended in a 0-0 draw, resulting in a penalty shootout of 3-2, with the Sookmyung Women’s University FC Sookmyung team winning for the second year since last year. We won back-to-back championship cups.
