Barcelona moves into second place

FC Barcelona finished second in the Spanish league. After the defeat in Girona the day before, the “Blaugrana” beat Atletico Madrid 3-0 away on Sunday evening and thus moved past the surprise team of the previous season.

However, there should be little left to shake the title win of league leaders Real. The Madrilenians are eight points ahead of their first pursuer.

Joao Felix (38th) scored against his former employer in Madrid to give Barcelona the lead. Coach Xavi received a yellow-red card before the break after criticizing the referee and had to go to the stands. Undeterred, Robert Lewandowski (47th) and Fermin Lopez (65th) shot the guests to victory.
