Without a victory for four matches, the ASCBB receives Croix to try to revive itself while the US Boves, on a series of three victories, travels to the Lille floor.
The ASCBB players welcome the Croix team to the Hotoie gymnasium, against which the Amiens narrowly lost during the first leg. After a series of several defeats which came down to the end of the match, coach Stéphane Noé approaches this weekend’s meeting by explaining: “ We hope to return to victory, because it has been a long time since we won and it is difficult to come close, but not to “finish” the matches. We had two good sessions this week, so we’ll see.”
For their part, the Bovois, on a series of three consecutive victories, intend to continue to take points to hope to remain in this Pre-National championship. This Saturday, March 23, they will face a team from Lille ASV who won with a difference of more than 40 points in the first leg. It will not be an easy match and coach Jean-Pierre Fourmaux explains: “ Our situation in the standings requires us to bring home a victory, so we must continue our good momentum. Obviously, the chain of victories leads to a renewed collective confidence. Today’s opponent is very physical, it will be a new test for us to confirm the team’s individual and collective progress.”
