After Andrich goal: Instagram message causes horror
Shortly after the final whistle of the top Bundesliga game, in which Leverkusen scored its 13th stoppage-time goal of the season, the national player’s wife received a disturbing message from a football fan on Instagram. He obviously felt compelled to react in an inhumane and completely tasteless manner by Leverkusen’s new late goal.
“Hope your daughter dies,” read a user’s private message to Alicia Andrich. She shared the corresponding screenshot in her Instagram story in shock and wrote: “The man scores a goal and these dishonorable people come out of their holes! You should be ashamed of yourself!”
Particularly perfidious: At this point, the Andrich couple were actually still in seventh baby heaven: Alicia had only given birth to their second child with their son Matteo on Wednesday.
Accordingly, she didn’t watch her husband’s game from the stadium, but rather via a live stream on a tablet in the hospital.
