While LeBron James recently surpassed the 40,000 points mark in the NBA regular season, his fans are using this feat in the GOAT debate. However, an American celebrity came to criticize this approach.
And to think that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record of 38,387 units seemed out of reach for decades. LeBron James not only seized it last year, but is now trying to pulverize it. A few days ago, the leader of the Lakers exceeded the symbolic bar of 40,000 points recorded in the regular season. An accomplishment that unsurprisingly put the GOAT debate back on the table.
LeBron’s record inadmissible in the GOAT discussion?
While James reached this unprecedented total against the Nuggets, a trend emerged on social networks, aiming to ridicule the NBA in which he played. Michael Jordan. An observation which revolted the famous actor Aries Spears, interviewed by VladTV :

Aware that he risked being labeled a “LeBron hater” following these comments, Spears preferred to take the lead while continuing to defend Jordan:
