Alhama Judo Club’s Young Athletes Shine with 13 Medals in Weekend Competitions

The little ones from the Alhama Judo Club return loaded with medals from their trips this weekend to Albacete and El Altet. In total, in both competitions they have won 13 medals (10 gold, 1 place and 2 bronze).

On Saturday, March 17, an expedition of seven Alhameño judokas accompanied by family and fans traveled to Albacete to participate in the second day of the Judo Golde League. They competed in the micro, youngest and juvenile categories.

In the first (micro), Miguel Cárceles Navarro won the gold. In Benjamin, Carla Romar Martinez, Carolina Gonzalez Garcia and Aurora Lopez Ceron won gold medals. And Elena Prisons Navarro won the bronze. And in the fry category, Aitana Garcia Bonache and María Lobo Ortiz won gold medals.

The next day, March 17, the Judoka Day was held in the Alicante town of El Altet, in which some 300 athletes participated, including six from the Alhama Judo Club. All of them won medals in their respective categories. In mini, Alejandro Hernández Sánchez won gold and Elena García Bonache got bronze.

In the youngest category, Carla Romar Martínez and Carolina González García won gold medals. And in the juvenile category, Adrián Hernández Sánchez won gold, while Aitana García Bonache won silver.
