*Ten judokas qualify for the Macro Regional

The head of the Macuiltépetl Judo Club of the city of Xalapa, Ariel Froylán Mejía Rodríguez, described as successful the participation of his judokas in the State Selective of the specialty, which was held last year at the International Velodrome in the state capital.
Mejía Rodríguez revealed that his club had 15 judokas participate in the event, of which ten were those who managed to advance to the Macro Regional of the specialty towards the CONADE 2024 Nationals.
In the women’s Under 15 category, those qualified are Paloma Aburto and Inés Ortiz and Fernanda Montero. Meanwhile, in the same category but in the men’s branch, Henry Rivas managed to advance to the macro-regional phase.
In the Under 18 Female category, Kelly Alvarez and Daniela Torres advance. Also, in Under 18 Varonil, Angel Moon and Gianlucca Gonzalez.
For their part, in the women’s Under 21, Karen Reyes and the national medalist Fernanda Landa qualify, which is one of the strong cards to get on the podium in the national phase.
