One Pride MMA 76 Results – Suwardi Completes One Pride MMA 76 Eternal Belt Mission
Jakarta – One Pride submission king Suwardi finally completed his mission by getting the eternal belt after defeating Irfan Aruan at One Pride MMA 76.
One Pride MMA 76 will be the first celebration in 2024 which will be held at Hall A Basket Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta, Saturday 3 February 2024.
This celebration presents a match between Suwardi vs Irfan Aruan as the main event duel title fight in the 56.7kg flyweight class.
That stage was Suwardi’s hunt for the eternal One Pride MMA belt after failing to get it twice.
And now the fighter nicknamed Becak Lawu has successfully completed his mission to get an eternal belt.
The Course of the Match
The two fighters respected each other with touching gloves after referee Budi, who led the match, started the fight.
The match started, Suwardi was able to knock out Irfan Aruan easily. Irfan stood up, but was knocked down again.
In ground duels, Suwardi was able to dominate. The fighter nicknamed Becak Lawu strangled Irfan via lock.
Luckily, Irfan Aruan, nicknamed the Batak King, was still able to escape from Becak Lawu’s strangulation.
Irfan Aruan was then still in a tight situation. His body could not move freely because it was locked by Suwardi.
With one minute remaining, Suwardi beat his opponent who was in the bottom position. He threw continuous punches and Irfan was unable to fight back.
Luckily the first round bell rang for halftime.
The fight continued in round two, Suwardi faced Irfan Aruan to buy and sell blows.
However, the condition did not last long. Becak Lawu succeeded in getting Irfan into the ground game.
Suwardi locks his hands via armbar. Irfan Aruan’s hand had been twisted but was finally free.
It didn’t stop there, Suwardi then tortured Irfan Aruan with repeated blows. Irfan could only protect his face.
In round three, Suwardi slammed his opponent on the canvas. He then beat Irfan with elbows and punches.
At the same time, Irfan Aruan couldn’t do much. He often turned his back to Suwardi to avoid attacks.
Suwardi again managed to lock in via rear naked choke. However, Irfan seemed to still be strong enough to break free.
In round four, a foul occurred on Irfan Aruan. From the replay, he was seen kicking the genital area of Suwardi’s groin.
The referee also punished Irfan with a yellow card.
The duel resumed, Suwardi immediately lunged at Irfan Aruan and threw a slam.
Suwardi then crushed his opponent. He then beat Irfan repeatedly.
With two minutes remaining, Suwardi finally finished the match. He managed to strangle Irfan Aruan’s neck until his opponent tapped out, aka surrendered.
