Monaco-PSG: why the return of Nuno Mendes is a blessing for Paris

More than a defensive recruit in a transfer window, the return of Nuno Mendes, after almost ten months of absence and a hamstring injury, is a bright spot that PSG was following closely. The hope of an entire club was to validate his presence for the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League and barring any problems in Monaco, the Parisian left-back will be present against Real Sociedad on Tuesday. With just over twenty minutes played against Rennes (1-1, last Sunday), the Portuguese is even ahead on this basis.

Luis Enrique and Paris have an additional offensive weapon which also brings its share of questions about the animation and organization of his team, with Lucas Hernandez placed back in the axis, the position for which he was recruited.
