The new app will offer non-exclusive access to a collection of sports television networks, including ESPN, Fox Sports 1 and TNT, as well as streaming content. So far, there has been no response from Fox, Warner Bros. Discovery or Disney. Additionally, the Department of Justice declined to comment on the matter.
On the other hand, Disney also announced that it will launch a standalone version of the ESPN streaming service in fall 2025.
