The Mining Basin will be the protagonist of La Mina Bike Marathon, this BTT test that presents as a novelty the collaboration of several municipalities on which the start and finish location will rotate each year. For this occasion, Nerva will be the town where the start will take place, after which participants will be able to tour the areas of Minas de Riotinto, El Campillo and Campofrío, passing through the urban center of Zalamea la Real.
The Club Bikes Huelva will be the organizer of the first edition of the mountain bike test La Mina Bike Marathon which will be framed within the Huelva Provincial Circuit in its XCM modality, being the second scoring of a total of fives in this year 2024.
The tour has an 80 km route. and about 2,000 accumulated meters of positive slope, and there will be a maximum time of 8 hours to complete it. Quite a spectacle for lovers of good mountain biking in an event expected and desired by Andalusian bikers due to the surprising, changing and physically demanding nature of the route.
The test will have the invaluable help of the Provincial Council of Huelva, the City Councils of Nerva and Zalamea la Real and the Andalusian Cycling Federation, as well as the collaboration of the Nerva Friends of the Bike Cycling Club, the Noray Cycling Club, the Riotinto Foundation , the Atalaya Riotinto Foundation and the Municipalities of Campofrío, El Campillo and Minas de Riotinto, a conglomerate of Institutions and Associations essential for carrying out a great event.
Registration opened this Thursday and can be done until April 15 or exhaust all 500 places. The price is €25 for federated cyclists and €35 for non-federated participants. Including final meal to end a full day of coexistence between fans.
