Minister Diana Morant has traveled to Valencia to learn more about how the extinguishing and rescue efforts are being carried out in the fire.
On behalf of the Government, Morant wanted to convey his condolences to the families of the victims of this fire and emphasized that this is “a painful moment for neighboring relatives and affected people.” In this sense, the minister has highlighted her support “in such a difficult time for those affected” and has assured the government’s commitment to the city council and Generalitat to collaborate in all the means that may be necessary to care for victims.
As part of this support, the minister has referred to the agents of the National Police and the UME, who will collaborate in whatever is necessary, as she has emphasized.
Regarding the tasks that are being carried out right now in the building, the minister explained that the priority is to cool the building and try to put out the flames to extinguish the fire.
