In Nièvre, clubs are rare. Nevers, La Charité and Cosne which has just held its general assembly in the presence of a good number of licensees and the president of the departmental committee.
President Sylvie Belaïd, surrounded by her office, found morale which was at its lowest a year ago.
No longer in violation
Since the death of former president Hervé Chauvin (and official referee), the club was in violation of the arbitration statutes, it could not organize a competition.
But, good news, Damien Cabrera, a young man, got involved in this training and finished major. He was warmly congratulated.
The club is stabilizing its workforce. For the second year, thirty-seven licensees including sixteen competitors who took part in various official events.
The youngest took part in several Nivernais days preparing them for real competitions.
The club was involved in school events, association festivals, sports…
If the finances show a slight negative result, it is one-off and is due to large purchases of equipment to repair damaged easels in particular.
This year, the club will organize its traditional competition on the island of Cosne, Sunday May 5.
The renewed office
At the time of office renewal, no big surprises. Around the reappointed president, the treasurer will be Damien Cabrera, assisted by Patrick Szymanek, while the secretariat becomes the business of Claude Lejeune, assisted by Alain Richard.
