With the aim of guaranteeing competition and sustaining sports development in each region for the men’s and women’s branches, the Argentine Basketball Confederation announces that directly affiliated clubs and associations will compete in the new Regional Training Tournaments starting in March.
The members of Sports Region 5, the associations of Santa Fe, Rosario, Cañada de Gómez, Venado Tuerto and the Rafaela and Sunchales clubs directly affiliated with CAB will be the first to start these competitions, managed together.
In this way, official competition will be guaranteed from the U12 to the U21 male and female categories, in addition to the Prefederal and corresponding senior championships. These local and regional tournaments will qualify for the national events organized jointly between the affiliates, Sports Regions and Associations.
Each region will be made up of zones that will be determined from the registered teams. It is important to note that the competitions will be held under the Digital Registration System (SiReDi) using a digital form in each match.
Important information
Clubs interested in registering may do so from February 15 and must send a registration note to [email protected], as well as consult costs, game format and further details. The tournaments will begin in the month of March.
