Success at the Italian Championships for the Apiana Extirpe: Mario Abballe (in the photo) is Italian champion of the bare bow category. The athletes of the Scarlinese archery company keep the flag flying high in the national challenges staged in the Bergamo Alps. Still excellent results for the Apiana Extirpe company of archers from Scarlino: at the Italian championships the Maremma athletes keep the flag flying with an absolute gold in the barebow category won by Mario Abballe in Schilpario, in Val di Scalve. The Scarlino club participated with its best archers: Stefano Pistolesi, Adriano Paradisi and Mario Abballe. For two days over 300 archers competed on the mountain courses in the four target shooting specialties: target, 3D round, track and route. Arrow after arrow, point after point, the final ranking saw Mario Abballe prevail in the bare bow category, thus winning the overall Italian title.
