The management of “Virtus” has reached an agreement with Gražuli to play in Bologna next season, informed “Sportando” with reference to the Italian newspaper “Corriere del Trentino”.

Already in the middle of the current season, “Virtus” and Banki tried to lure the leader of Trento “Aquila” to them, but Gražulis did not want to disappoint his previous employer and accept such rapid changes. Gražulis scored an average of 15.5 points per match in two games for the Latvian national team in February, and he plays productively both in the Italian league and in the Eurocup.
The Bologna team is in third place in Italy’s strongest league, or Serie A, while the Euroleague team is in fifth position.
Gražulis is playing his second season in the Trento unit, but before that he played in Trieste “Allianz” in Italy, and before that also in the second strongest league in Tortona “Bertram”. Gražulis started his career as a professional basketball player in Ventspils and later also played for Perm “Parma” in Russia and “VEF Rīga”.
