Germany in the Basketball European Championship qualification: Why are the world champions around Dennis Schröder missing from the DBB?
With David Krämer there is only one world champion in the European Championship qualifier against Montenegro. The simple reason for this is that many other players who won the title with the DBB team last year are currently not available.
While Dennis Schröder, Franz Wagner, Moritz Wagner and Daniel Theis cannot be available in the NBA due to the game plan, the rest of the world champion squad is missing due to rest measures.
Justus Hollatz is also out of the upcoming qualification window for health reasons.
