The GAK is moving up and away at the top of the Admiral 2nd League table. The Graz team celebrated a 3-1 away win on Saturday in another supplementary game of the 16th round at SKU Ertl Glas Amstetten and extended their lead over the FAC to eleven points. The Viennese won 2-0 at SV Guntamatic Ried on Friday and pushed the Innviertel team from second place, now tied on points.

Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz and FC Liefering were also happy about three points at the start of spring on Saturday. While Bregenz won 2-1 (0-0) at First Vienna FC 1894 and pushed DSV Leoben GGMT Revolution out of fourth place again and is two points behind the GAK chasing duo FAC and Ried, the Lieferingers went to FC Mohren Dornbirn 1913 as 2-1 winner from the pitch.

The GAK continued to prove its dominance in the 2nd league in the new year and started like a raid in the Mostviertel. The Graz team took the lead through Michael Cheukoua (3rd) and controlled the action for long stretches. But it was Lenn Jastremski (69′) who provided clarity; the tension after Jürgen Lemmerer’s goal (88′) was short-lived. Daniel Maderner (95th) closed the sack in stoppage time.

Bregenz celebrated at Vienna thanks to a double strike from Jannik Wanner (51st) and Lukas Brückler (56th) within six minutes. Seventh-placed Vienna shone with inefficiency in view of the better chances; Christoph Monschein’s only goal (69th) could not prevent their first defeat since October 20th. In the third game on Saturday, Liefering won the basement duel against Dornbirn 2-1 with goals from Bryan Okoh (72nd) and Phillip Verhounig (87th) and improved to 13th place thanks to their second win in a row.
