The Blazers refuse to be a sales team – or so they say. Despite the poor campaign they are leading and despite the first steps of a reconstruction, Oregon does not want to go crazy and prefers to take safe measures; so much so that the departure of Jerami Grant – sought by the Dallas Mavericks among others – seems far from being the case.
This is exactly the information that journalist Marc Stein deals with. In consulting with the offices of some teams interested in the veteran forward, they pointed out that Portland was very wary of releasing Grant.
