Former Leverkusen player Daniel Carvajal scored the winning goal in the ninth minute of injury time. Real are now two points ahead of Girona and already seven points ahead of FC Barcelona. The Catalans also won late 4:2 (1:0) at Real Betis Sevilla.

Carvajal dusts off

But then Jude Bellingham (57th) scored with a hand penalty and Vinicius Junior (67th) equalized.
