The Oltretorrente baseball and softball group together with the “Servire Lourdes” association made a donation on Tuesday 16 January to the “Pietro Barilla” children’s hospital, an initiative that has been repeated since 2013.
The Oltretorrente baseball and softball Group, represented for the occasion by the president Andrea Paini and the vice president of Oltretorrente baseball Paolo Bettati and “Servire Lourdes” with Nadia Bertolotti for the president Giovanni Marcotti donated tools and equipment for the care of children such as scales and altimeter for the clinics, breast pumps and bottle warmers at the pediatric oncohematology department of the Children’s Hospital. These gifts, handed over by those present to the director of the facility Patrizia Bertolini and the nursing coordinator Maria Luisa Zou, were the result of the fundraiser managed by the parents of the girls and boys who play softball and baseball.
