Kristaps Porzingis’ Return to the Court for Boston Celtics in Doubt

The return of Latvian basketball player Kristaps Porzingis to the court in the next National Basketball Association (NBA) game is under a question mark, the Boston “Celtics” announced on Tuesday.

The “Celtics”, playing the second game in two days, will meet the Indiana “Pacers” at home on Tuesday (Wednesday at 2:30 a.m. Latvian time).

Porzingis already missed the previous two games for Boston due to a sprained left ankle. On Thursday in the game against the Miami Heat, the Latvian basketball player landed on the feet of the Heat player Bama Adebayo in the third quarter after fighting for a rebound in the defense and sprained his left ankle, not returning to the court for the rest of the game.

This season, Porzingis averaged 19.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 33 games in 30 minutes.

“Celtics” with 36 victories in 47 games is the leader of the Eastern Conference and also of the entire league. The Pacers are sixth in the Eastern Conference with a record of 27-20.
