Italian Serie A: Roma beat Salernitana with a Dybala penalty | De Rossi’s team gave the locals the third fall in a row

Roma beat Salernitana 2-1 this Monday at the Arechi Stadium on matchday 22 of Italian Serie A.

Paulo Dyabala was fundamental with the goal that opened the scoring and his participation in Lorenzo Pellegrini’s goal for the victory of the Romans. Agustín Martegani joined the local cast as a complement, which he discounted through Grigoris Kastanos.

The duel had a time for each one. In the first, Filippo Inzaghi’s men deserved more, but they failed to capitalize on the chances they had.

Already in the complement, Daniele De Rossi’s men struck quickly. After a cross into the area, Cristante won with a header, the ball hit Maggiore’s hand and referee Marco Di Bello did not hesitate to award a penalty, which Dybala changed into a goal.

Afterwards, La Joya received from the right, faced the middle and put in a phenomenal cue for Karsdorp, who reached the bottom and threw the center to the far post for Pellegrini to push it and convert the second.

The locals reacted and found the discount after a good run by Tchaouna and a ball into the area that Kastanos headed into the goal.

There was no time for more and Roma is in fifth place in the Serie A standings, while Salernitana remains last and very committed to relegation.
