Annual Summer Camp Promotes Healthy Lifestyle Habits in Children and Young People

More than 40 professionals will participate in 18 sports in this annual program that is positioned as an opportunity to promote healthy lifestyle habits in children and young people.

Participants will be able to enjoy the summer camp from January 15 and will continue until February 2, where they will offer a space for learning and fun.

As a way to guarantee the safety and well-being of the students, one of the requirements is the 2024 medical certificate, photocopies of the identification cards of the student and his or her person responsible, and completing a registration form that is delivered at the time.

The activities are recreational with emphasis on initiation into sports such as chess, athletics, badminton, basketball, boxing, soccer, gymnastics, handball, judo, karate, wrestling, swimming, skating, rugby, taekwondo, field tennis, table tennis and volleyball.

In addition, 10 sports types will be offered in the San Francisco neighborhood and soccer will be promoted in Cateura, thus expanding the scope of the summer camp.

This initiative of the National Sports Secretariat (SND) goes beyond providing entertainment during the holidays; focuses on the promotion of physical activity as a healthy lifestyle habit from an early age, seeking to promote sports development in the population, highlighting the importance of an active and healthy life for the country’s children and youth.
