Alejandra Valencia’s Strong Start to the Olympic Year: Climbing the World Archery Rankings

The Olympic year for Mexico and Alejandra Valencia started on the right foot, after the World Archery world ranking was announced.

A list, in which the Mexican stands out in the women’s category within the Recurve Bow in second position, surpassing a tie with the North American Casey Haufhold.

Valencia, who had a brilliant 2023, winning among other recognitions the 2023 National Sports Award, the silver medal in the Archery World Cup and gold in the Pan American Games, was only surpassed by Lim Sihyeon from South Korea.

Alejandra Valencia, also already with the Olympic spot in her hands to attend Paris 2024, will continue her preparation in the coming months with the intention of arriving at the event in her best version.

In which he will seek to surpass what he achieved in Tokyo 2020, a competition in which he won bronze in a performance to remember his sport.
