There are 20 athletes in the Polisportiva Libertas Molfetta who will compete in the first stage “JUDO Little Samurai Trophy 2024”, scheduled in Bari on Sunday 21 January, at the PalaFlorio.
The standard bearers of the Molfetta club, led by the coach Alicino Sebastianowill be busy throughout the day divided into age groups and for many of them it will be their first experience in sporting events outside the municipal area.
We start at 08.00 with the BOYS class which will see the protagonists Totorizzo Elena, Cifarelli Damiano, By Gennaro Carla, Andrea Kvezereli, Panunzio Gabriele e Julius tulip. From 12.00, however, it will be the turn of the CHILDREN, led by Minervini Antonio e Guarino Giovannialready protagonists of various sporting events despite their very young age, who they will accompany Allegretta Alessio, D’Agostino Luigi, From Ceglia Diego Antonio, De Gennaro Mauro, Errico Cosimo, The Cinzia Forge e Piergiovanni Mattia.
The last group of athletes will take part in the competition starting from 3.00 pm and will be engaged in the CHILDREN class Porcelli Marco, Francesco Cifarelli, Coppolecchia Greta, Favuzzi Diego e Minervini Andrea.
Participation in these sporting events where hundreds of athletes from all over the Region meet, as reiterated by the Sports Director, Michele Amato, is fundamental because in addition to trying to put into practice what they have learned in the gym, it represents a moment of growth both in sport how characterful, precisely because they compare themselves, children and young people, with other peers trying to overcome first of all fears of comparison and above all trying to express their potential without the pressure of important competitions, in which they will be able to participate in the future.
For the Polisportiva Libertas Molfetta it is a great satisfaction to bring 20 very young athletes into competition, the result of a great work that is being carried out in the area on school and pre-school age groups with their own sports disciplines of Judo, Wrestling and Karate, also disseminating among girls take up combat sports, as demonstrated by the athletes who will take part in Sunday’s event.
