Uli Hoeneß’s Generosity Grows: Donations Increase After Prison Release

Uli Hoeneß (71) has always loved donations. But his stay in prison has made him even more generous, he reveals in an interview with the “Tegernseer Stimme”.

Bavaria’s Honorary President Hoeneß: “I decided back then that when I’m back, I’ll try to be more generous towards the weaker people, because I don’t plan on being the richest in the cemetery.”

He also gives figures: Hoeneß donates between three and four tons of bratwursts to the “Tafeln” in Munich and Holzkirchen every month. All fees for lectures (“several 100,000 euros”) are passed on to good causes. Before Christmas he gave the state school for the physically disabled a check for 25,000 euros.
