Two paramedics guilty of homicide in the death of an African-American in Colorado

A jury of Coloradoin USAhas declared guilty of homicide for criminal negligence of paramedics accused of inject a strong sedative a Elijah McClain, un joven Afro-American 23-year-old who had just been detained by Aurora City Police just for looking suspicious.

The twenty-something died three days later in the hospital because of the injection, specifically suffering from Ketamine overdose.

The events date back exactly to 2019, when the young black man was arrested on the street by three white police officers. Was subjected violently on the ground and shortly after the two paramedics now found guilty arrived.

They both gave him a powerful sedative to calm him down and, three days later, on August 30, 2019, he lost his life in a hospital due to this.

Now, the two paramedics, Peter Cichuniec and Jeremy Cooper, have been considered guilty of death of the young man, whose autopsy was conclusive in determining that he died from a ketamine overdose.
