The Overlimits Integrated Basketball center organized by the Knights Basket Finale Basketball section of our Finale Multisport Amateur Sports Association has also started in Finale Ligure. This is an activity dedicated to the inclusion of people with intellectual or relational disabilities and those without problems.
After the dissemination and promotional activity carried out in 2023 by ASD Ass. Basket Integrato Albenga and thanks to the economic contribution of the A. De Mari Foundation on the “Sport beyond the obstacle 2022” tender in the territory and in the Higher Education Institutes of Finale In Ligure, in recent weeks the continuous free activity of the new centre, opened by the Basketball Section of the Finale sports club, began.
Thanks to the synergy with the Social Promotion Association “A Cielo Aperto” of Finale Ligure, which promotes actions to combat the social and health problems of people with psychiatric problems, a team made up of some people followed by this association and some players of Basket Finale have started training at the Alessia Berruti Sports Hall.
The training sessions, conducted by Roberto Fontana, Head of the Basketball Final, as well as Overlimits Integrated Basketball Instructor, with SN.aQ qualification of Libertas EPS., involve around ten players, of both sexes and aged from 25 to 50 years . The appointment is every Friday from 3.00pm to 4.30pm at the Alessia Berruti Sports Hall in Via Calice in Finalborgo.
The project, which currently lasts three months, will continue next September for the 24/25 season and will also be open to children aged 14 to 19.
