After a short time, however, unrest began to spread among the trainees because Christmas visitors had been announced. Santa suddenly appeared on the mat. Before he started distributing the gifts, he first told the children and young people about last year’s training. Afterwards, the children diligently recited poems and sang songs. But Santa Claus had even more to do that day. He honored the sporting successes in 2023 for achieving placements at the Hessian, Southwest German and German championships. The following judokas were honored: Lena Wendel, Katharina Keltjens, Dimitar Atanassov, Max Danner, Florian Ruckteschler, Denis Hamidovic and Elvin Hamidovic.
