Relive the best moments of the Prozap Badminton Asian Cup 2023, Asia Pacific Zone Project, which took place in Jakarta from Thursday November 30 to Saturday December 2. Ten French high schools from the Asia region participated in the event.
The essential championship for French high schools in the region
The 7th edition of the Asian Badminton Cup brought together French High Schools from the cities of Jakarta, Bali, Phnom Penh, Shanghai, Sydney, Bangkok, Singapore, Vientiane, Hanoi and Ho Chi Min.
The competition opened on Thursday, November 30 with a speech by the French Ambassador to Indonesia, Mr. Fabien Penone, delegations from the Agency for the Teaching of French Abroad (AEFE), and the Olympic Committee. Indonesian Badminton Federation (PBSI), local authorities as well as Mr. Christian Adinata, Indonesian professional player.
In total, more than 140 students competed for three days alongside young people from Bintang Kidul, an association supporting disadvantaged young Indonesians.
