Unai Emery’s team won thanks to a goal from Jamaican winger Leon Bailey (74′) and now has a two-point lead over the fourth-placed “Citizens”. Aston Villa (3/o, 32 points) brought their number of consecutive home wins in the Premier League to 14, three days before receiving leaders Arsenal (36 points). Liverpool are second (34 points) thanks to a 2-0 win over Sheffield United, bottom of the table. Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-1 and is in sixth place, with the same points as Tottenham (27) who however face West Ham tomorrow.
