VOGHERA – Another gold for Mauro Nespoli from Voghera. This time the medal comes in the European Games which are currently being held in Poland. For the Voghera native it is yet another success after the Olympic medals won in the past.
The Italian team made up of Mauro Nespoli, Federico Musolesi and Alessandro Paoli therefore confirmed themselves on the top of Europe by beating Spain once again (5-1). It happened in Munich a year ago, the script was also repeated at the European Games in Krakow, Poland, where Spain once again gave way to the Azzurri.
The archer from Voghera adds this trophy to an already very rich list of awards: he obtained the silver medal in the team competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the gold medal in the team competition at the 2012 London Olympics and the silver in the individual event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Many compliments for the archer from Voghera, who Mauro Nespoli joined the Air Force on 20 May 2008, including those from regional councilor Elena Lucchini.
