Los Angeles, 6 December. -(Adnkronos) – LeBron James drags the Los Angeles Lakers to the semi-final of the NBA Cup, where they will face the New Orleans Pelicans in Las Vegas. The ‘gialloviola’ beat the Phoenix Suns 106-103 at home, after a balanced and decisive match in the sprint. The match was decided by Kevin Durant’s missed triple at the siren which could have been worth a draw and extra time. The Californians controlled the first part of the match, but Phoenix began the 3rd quarter with a 14-0 run with which they perfected the overtaking. From then on it goes point by point, on the shoulders of Devin Booker (21 points but 6/16 from the field) and Anthony Davis (27 points and 15 rebounds) and LeBron James. However, it was Austin Reaves’ triple (20 points) at the end that launched the ‘purplegolds’.
